The role of the Trade Union. The Decent Work Agenda of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the issues of health he urged the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai to have a Good infrastructure for solid waste disposal which would health in reducing solid waste pollution to the people at large and also stop health hazards to the conservancy workers working in this department. He gave examples of actual cases and Supreme Court judgement of street vendors and human rights. He also highlighted the concern and issues of the unorganised sector with the domestic help and the comparison with other countries and the law.
Outcome
Mr. Shashank Rao awe-inspiring conversation and astonished life experiences in trade unions and various law fields helped students in gaining knowledge and students felt motivated. The students were made aware of the rights and responsibilities of the management and especially workmen and trade unions. The students were informed about the changes required under the law with reference to its current need in the society.
