A Guest Lecture was conducted on General Principles of Insurance Law by Adv. Asim Vidyarthi , a practicing advocate on the 18th of March ,2017 which gave insights to students about concepts like Insurance being a Contract of utmost Good faith and how part disclosure or no disclosures can put an insurance contract to an end. He also dealt at length on the principle of Subrogation under Insurance Law. Asim Vidyarthi sir also spoke about the role of IRDA as a regulator of Insurance business where it tries to safeguard and protect the interests of various stakeholders. He also emphasized on the growth of Insurance as a career option and the various kinds of Insurance.
