The Doctoral program in NMIMS School of Law is designed to prepare law students for careers as legal scholars and teachers through a rigorous research program that focuses on creating discernible form of academic research under full time, close supervision of our Research Advisory Committee. The program prepares students with robust commitment to interdisciplinary teaching and research, accommodating scholars to be part of a diverse and cosmopolitan research community in School of Law.
The program offers Ph.D. in areas concerning interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary dimensions with respect to law. The PhD programs fundamental objective is to focus on the expertise and outlook of law through the spectrum of humanities as well as management by examining procedures and policies that affect governance and businesses administration.
The maximum time for completion of the program is five years from the year of admission. However, the duration of the program will adhere to the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of MPhil / Ph.D. Degrees) Regulations, 2016
