Mr. Akshat Chaturvedi

Assistant Professor

Mr. Akshat Chaturvedi holds an LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal (2023 - 2024), and a BA LL.B. (Hons.) from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (2018 - 2023). He qualified the UGC-NET for Assistant Professor in December 2023.

Currently serving as Assistant Professor at Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, NMIMS University, Mr. Chaturvedi teaches courses in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, and Human Rights. Prior to this, he served as Assistant Professor at the Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore, where he taught Interpretation of Statutes and Cyber Law.

Akshat has demonstrated a strong interest in Constitutional Law and Sociology, which is reflected in his academic endeavors and research contributions. He has actively participated in workshops, including a Marketing and Leadership Workshop at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and workshop on Professional Skills & Values at Gujarat National Law University. His publication record includes a chapter titled “Justice Accessibility for Persons with Disability,” published in a book titled Human Rights and Disability Law (ISBN: 978 - 93 - 89657 - 61 - 6, 2020), and a research article titled “Navigating Puberty Blockers and Consent for Transgender Children in India: Legal and Medical Perspectives,” published in the UGC-CARE listed NLUJ Law Journal (ISSN: 2326 - 5320). He has presented papers at national and international seminars, including presentations on transgender rights in the context of health law and on the intersection of comedy, free speech, and social morality in India.

An avid reader with a deep passion for the sociological dimensions of constitutional law, Akshat aspires to build a lifelong career in academia.
