CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The co-curricular activities include various platforms like the Debate Society, Moot Court Committee, Law Review Committee, Model United Nations, SOLink Publications Committee, Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee, and discussion forums such as Anhad. These forums provide students with opportunities to develop critical thinking, public speaking, research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. The institution organizes prestigious events like the annual International Moot Court Competition (IMCC), which attracts participation from national and international law schools. For instance, the 5th IMCC held in August 2023 focused on Investment Treaty Arbitration and featured 28 teams, while the 6th IMCC in September 2024 centered around International Trade Law with over 30 participating teams. Students of KPMSOL have also made their mark internationally, such as at the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition held at the United Nations in Geneva.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In terms of extra-curricular activities, the institution promotes cultural engagement, sportsmanship, and creativity through festivals and events. Meraki, the annual cultural fest, features literary, artistic, and performing arts events and has seen participation from prominent colleges across Mumbai. Navrang, held in 2024, combined the spirit of Meraki and the sports fest Parakram, offering a blend of events ranging from cricket and football to fashion shows and DJ nights. Other celebrations like Women's Day ("Stree"), Halloween, and college talent shows contribute to a vibrant campus culture. These events not only entertain but also foster teamwork, leadership, and community spirit.
The activities at KPMSOL reflect a balanced approach to legal education that integrates rigorous academic training with vibrant student life, ensuring the development of well-rounded future legal professionals.
